I am thrilled to announce that Rozlyn Press is seeking short fiction submissions for an anthology of women (female-identified) writers to be published in August 2015. These last few months have reminded me how much I love short fiction, and what better way to keep Rozlyn Press busy than by finding the best unpublished pieces and giving them a home. Please visit our Submissions page for details and a link to submit. I look forward to reading your work.
Rozlyn Press was born out of a love for books and a light-bulb exploding in my head. I was fortunate to have the time, support, and encouragement of friends, family, and colleagues to pursue a passion in the book industry, no matter how independently. I have loved being a one-woman press and am forever blessed to have had Rachel Ballard and Audra Martin D’Aroma trust me with their works.
The time has come (the walrus said) to talk of other things….
As happens, life takes over and I’ve been unable to devote as much time or energy into Rozlyn Press in recent years. For this reason, I put Rozlyn’s work on hold. I will be pursuing a MFA in Creative Writing in September 2014 and hope to incorporate the future of Rozlyn Press with my education and additional experience and networking opportunities.
Thank you all for your support and please keep in touch (email: firstname.lastname@example.org).
P.S. Rachel and Audra’s novels (A Long-Forgotten Truth and The Galveston Chronicles) will still be available through your favorite bookish websites.
P.P.S. Update on 1/30/2015: Visit Gravel Magazine for a short story by yours truly.
